XD XENIA DESIGN presents its Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection, debuting at Dubai Fashion Week 2025 on 4th September - marking the brand’s first-ever runway show in Dubai. Founded in 1986 by Croatian designer Ksenija Vrbanić, XD XENIA DESIGN has built an international reputation for redefining classic tailoring through its distinctive XD dimension, a design philosophy rooted in individuality, confidence, and bold creativity.
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, the art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, the latest collection from XD Xenia Design transforms construction into ornamentation, celebrating the beauty in visible craftsmanship. In Kintsugi, seams are illuminated, made precious, and transformed into something new. This same spirit runs through the idea of the collection, every construction, every cut. The garments do not disguise their assembly; instead, they display their architecture.
“I wanted to create a collection that feels as precious as fine jewelry. My garments don’t hide the process - they proudly reveal it. They embody the 'golden hands' of our seamstress in our Croatian atelier, celebrating the craftsmanship and knowledge required to create this high form of fashion,” says Ksenija Vrbanić, founder and creative director of XENIA.
The collection features bold, sculptural silhouettes with extended architectural sleeves, sharply defined waists, and sheer organza layers over precise tailoring. A palette of black and neutrals is punctuated by bold bursts of red and green, while oversized abstract florals and metallic accents in gold, silver, and platinum evoke the opulence of couture. There is a quiet power in the pieces featured in the collection that speaks in a language of new elegance - strong and architectural, but never loud. They are architecture for the body - forms designed to move, to last, to empower. “Each look is carefully built to reveal its own story, between the softness of the fabric and the strength of its construction”, adds Vrbanic.
