For the first time, XD XENIA DESIGN introduces its XD Couture line, marking a new era in the brand’s evolution. This exclusive collection elevates XD’s signature avant-garde aesthetic through meticulously crafted pieces that push the boundaries of haute couture and artistry. XD Couture merges the brand’s distinctive deconstructivist approach with exquisite detailing, luxurious fabrics, and masterful draping, offering a fresh perspective on high fashion.
The inspiration for the print in the new collection comes from one of the Adriatic’s most remarkable inhabitants – the noble pen shell (Pinna nobilis). Its vivid motifs bring an organic, oceanic element to the designs, while lightweight fabrics evoke the essence of summer – freedom, lightness, and fluid movement.
But the symbolism of the pen shell goes beyond aesthetics – as this majestic shell faces extinction, so too does the craft of high-end fashion tailoring slowly fade. That’s why, for the past 39 years, XD has nurtured the tradition of tailoring and rooted its entire production in the northwestern region of Croatia, preserving the art of fashion for future generations within the unique XD Design Center complex.
